I am not sure if it is a good idea to use a Product in the manner you describe but in any case:

FSSession needs to be initialized with a cookie name, (whatever one wants to call the cookie that will store the session id). self.a=FSSession('Danssession') Still it might not work if FSSession cannot access REQUEST etc. Let me know. Pavlos
