Sounds like you've got INSTANCE_HOME or CLIENT_HOME pointing to the wrong place and Zope has happily created a new storage file there for you. Check the control panel for where it thinks INSTANCE_HOME and CLIENT_HOME are.
INSTANCE_HOME /home/httpd/ZopeInstallation/Zope_software_home CLIENT_HOME /home/httpd/ZopeInstallation/Zope_software_home/var I presume the INSTANCE_HOME part is right: that's where it's supposed to be, if that's where I installed it, right? What is CLIENT_HOME? If that's where Data.fs should be, that's correct as well. TIA, beno

Hi; Okay, I figured out how to change the password. Then I installed the old Data.fs in the new rebuild and ran start. I logged in (yay!) but much to my amazement the directory didn't have any of my data! It had the standard data from the new rebuild! I double-checked to make sure I had the right Data.fs in there: it's about 10 times larger than the one from the new build so it's right and it's in the right place. What on earth is going on?? TIA, beno
