I guess most people using Apache with Zope use Apache as reverse proxy instead of using fastcgi. Even better: use Squid as reverse proxy. -aj ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Bear" <David.Bear@asu.edu> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Thursday, March 28, 2002 11:35 Subject: [Zope] using apache to frontend zope
I know it add complexity, but it seems prudent to rely on the knowledge and well understand code behind apache to use it as a front end http server for zope (that, along with keeping the ssl certs and setup in one place).
I am wondering how many are using apache with zope -- guessing that the connection is the fastcgi-mod -- But if there are other methods I'm interested as well. Any statistics like this anywhere?
