Are these CGI programs written in perl? If so there is perl for Zope available...

Hi,
My problem here seems obvious, but I really dont know how to solve it. I want to use some of my old CGI programs and I dont have much time to convert them into Zope. Does anyone know how to pass a request to a CGI program and get the results back in Zope? I know client.py may be useful, but it further worsen the fork tax CGI would pay.
Thanks
