The usual GCC is available for Solaris (the same one as for Linux) ! Do you use something else else ? There's a Zope bin tarball for Solaris available. I don't thing they build some sources especially for Solaris. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harry Payne" <payne@stsci.edu> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Wednesday, August 22, 2001 7:04 PM Subject: [Zope] C++ style comments confound Sun compilers
I came across this again building 2.4.1b1, but there are C++ style comments in
lib/python/Products/PluginIndexes/TextIndex/Splitter/ISO_8859_1_Splitter/src /ISO_8859_1_Splitter.c
that prevent a clean build with the Sun version 5 compilers, at least for me under Solaris 8. Could they be changed?
