1. Zope 2.1.7 has been withdrawn due to CVS confusion. Can you reproduce the problem on another version, such as 2.1.6?. Is there any indication of why it won't start (error message)? Did you start it with -D set, so it would display errors on the console?
2. This is a spurious error. It should not cause any problems in installation. It seems to be caused by the MKS tools that I use to create the tarball on Win98.
