Anyone have experinece using any of the big credit card authorization sites with zope?
I've been looking at authorize.net and they seem good, but I wanted to check with the list and see if there were any suggestions and/or horror stories.
Not an answer to your question, I'm afraid, but helpful for others searching on this topic: Some credit card auth providers charge a small amount for each auth attempt, and visitors to your site can enter a nonsensical credit card number (accidentally or intentionally), resulting in a small charge for you to pay your provider to check this. A good idea is to check the card #s for basic checksum sanity *before* your submit for authentication. There's a credit card checking algorithm in the CVS repository for Plone Collective (not Plone specific, tho') that can help with this. === I've used the online card auth systems offered by my client's banks before, and that's worked out well, but it's usually more expensive of a discount fee than the big places charge, so I can't really recommend those. ;) Good luck! -- Joel BURTON | joel@joelburton.com | joelburton.com | aim: wjoelburton Independent Knowledge Management Consultant
