stops and does not start again. When the restart button is pressed I get a "Temporarily Unavailable" messesge but then Zope does not start up. One has to then restart by doing a './start -u brad' as root. -----Original Message----- From: Dieter Maurer [mailto:dieter@handshake.de] Sent: Monday, January 13, 2003 2:48 PM To: Gaspard, Bradley S Cc: 'zope@zope.org'; Gaspard, Bradley S Subject: Re: [Zope] restart from the control pannel ... not restarting Gaspard, Bradley S wrote at 2003-1-13 08:35 -0500:
I've installed Zope 2.6.0 from source on a linux box (SuSE 7.2). Everything runs fine except it does not restart from the control panel. I'm sure this must be some privilege issue. I am starting Zope as the root user and running Zope (./start -u brad) as just a normal user.
Any ideas why it might not be restarting automatically? Is there a log file I can go to to see what exceptions might have been raised?? Maybe, after you told us what is does:
* ignores pressing the "restart" button * stops but does not start again * raises an exception ("Error Type", "Error Value" and traceback!) * .... Dieter
