Just occured reading this.
But, i have worked both with Zope and PHP, and i like zope more than PHP because *he* is more organized and is based on objects, this does much (my emphasis).
What do you call/think Zope? It, He, She?
LEE Kwan Soo.
Indo-European languages seems much obsessed with gender/pronoun ...
Actually, English is a very nice language that way. You use 'it' whenever the gender isn't obvious (like an actual female human, or a male human). 'he/she' are also used occasionally when there's extreme emotional attachment to some object (ships traditionally, 'My ship! She's sinking!' or computers nowadays :). Zope's an 'it'. I think Mauricio who used 'he' is from Brazil (.br is brazil?), and in Portuguese gender/pronoun use is probably different than in English. It tends to be more complicated in most Indo-European languages. But English is nice and simple this way. Regards, Martijn
