This is important to note. All DAs must support the transaction semantics, regardless of whether the underlying RDBMS support transactions. You should *never* under any circumstances try and modify the style in which transactions are committed at the Zope level. The choices are made for very specific and conscious reasons, and changing it could cause catastrophic corruption of data :-) (that's a bit of an overstatement, but don't do it).
