The current revision of the Catalog strips out numbers and certain symbols increase efficiency. I believe, the newest revision in CVS has Vocabulary objects which is a means to define things that you want to be able to search for above and beyond the standard stripped out words. I believe that it will be in the 2.2.0 released version of Zope.
hi, i have the problem when I am searching in the ZCatalog I can not search for thing like email adress because of the "@" and not for strings like "123" (only digits)! I don't use the Index of the Catalog!!!!
