Meaghan, You'll want to open http://ocean.magtech.com.au:8080 in your browser and log in using your admin login and password. Once you've got everything working okay, you'll probably want to set up your initscripts so Zope starts at boot rather than manually with the start script. Hope that helps, -ed On Sunday, February 17, 2002, at 10:56 , meaghanaldridge wrote:
Hi, I recently downloaded Zope 2.5.0, and have gone through the installation process. I have attempted to start Zope, by running the ./start file. However, this is what I get:
[root@ocean zope2.5.0]# ./start ------ 2002-02-18T03:06:53 INFO(0) ZODB Opening database for mounting: '142128808_1013569754.887551' ------ 2002-02-18T03:06:53 INFO(0) ZODB Mounted database '142128808_1013569754.887551' at /temp_folder ------ 2002-02-18T03:06:53 INFO(0) ZServer HTTP server started at Mon Feb 18 14:06:53 2002 Hostname: ocean.magtech.com.au Port: 8080 ------ 2002-02-18T03:06:53 INFO(0) ZServer FTP server started at Mon Feb 18 14:06:53 2002 Hostname: ocean.magtech.com.au Port: 8021 ------ 2002-02-18T03:06:53 INFO(0) ZServer PCGI Server started at Mon Feb 18 14:06:53 2002 Unix socket: /usr/local/zope2.5.0/var/pcgi.soc
Then it stops. Nothing else ever happens. I have no messages from my firewall, and nothing in /var/log/messages. So basically, I'm stuck and have no idea where to go from here. I am fairly sure that I have followed the installation instructions correctly.
Does anyone know what I should do next?
TIA,
Meaghan
