That works out great I threw the dtml-var resu... out and used the <img> and its beutiful now So if that works why provide the <dtml-var ...> at all??

I believe the <dtml-var > is provided for convenience and for all cases where the data method can do the job without additional parameters. In that case it is very convenient.
