When I try I get the file as read-only. And if I try to "save as" which is what pops up, it will add the .html or .htm to the file. Is there something you had to do to turn that off? What I mean was what happens if in Word, you go to File->Open, click on "Web Folders" and browse to the Zope hosted doc. Does it open read-only then too?
No, I can save the file in Zope.

Then what you can do is create a VB macro to open or list the files accessible on Zope and open them. Then add a button or menu item to run the macro for your users. Or educate them how to use the "Web folders" feature. -- | Casey Duncan | Kaivo, Inc. | cduncan@kaivo.com `------------------> _______________________________________________ Zope maillist - Zope@zope.org http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope ** No cross posts or HTML encoding! ** (Related lists - http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-announce http://lists.zope.org/mailman/listinfo/zope-dev )
