As others already said: Zope can also translate incoming domain names to different sites... so apache is NOT NEEDED.

Well, use Apache as described on http://www.zope.org/About/Apache together with a VirtualHostMonster in Zope and you get caching, ssl, virtual hosting and much more flexibility. And it's really easy to setup. Even though it can be don't without Apache, I can't see any reason why one wouldn't want to use it. /Magnus
