AFAIK, it's normally tested via (don't beat me) javascript. Maybe you should look for a site which does use flash (e.g. linuxtoday.com, they have flash adverts in their rotation) but also handles the noflash case, and look at the source. IIRC, there are a lot of howtos out there how to handle this. HTH, oliver
