I think it may be time to revisit the issue of splitting the main zope@zope.org list.

Perhaps it's time to reraise the possibility (spectre?) of having a newsgroup - with sub groups etc.
My vote: a) Yes to "splitting the list" b) BIG YES to "zope-announce" I'm not an active Zope user at the moment, but I definitely want to stay informed about what's going on.
