Unfortunately, it is not easily reproducable... We had once only simple ZClasses defined and it still died, when several people try to access it simultanously. Ah, that is I think the only common factor: Always users worked at the same time on Zope (viewing or managing). Does that help?
Ummm.. not really. ;-) We'll continue to stagger towards a solution, however... ;-)
