How should "Zope" be pronounced?

Just like Soap, but different :-) 'z' as in 'zebra' and 'ope' as in 'oap' :-)

Does the word mean something special,

It was one of the few things that wasn't trademarked and not 40 characters long quite honestly. If you look back in the archives of the bobo list, you'll find a lot of discussion about naming.
