after upgrading to Zope 2.3.1 (, MySQL-python-0.3.5, ZMySQLDA 2.0.6., mysql 3.22.32) I discovered the followin behaviour:

Try Zope 2.3.2, 2.3.1 was not a good vintage :-S cheers, Chris
