Actually since I moved to Canada from the UK, aint got sued once. Yet :)
yes. i think it's more of an American thing. here (Toronto) we always joke whenever anyone says or does someone the other doesn't like, "too bad we aren't in America - i could sue you and retire." where it might something like a coworker using up the last of the office milk or not putting paper in the printer.
