It happened automatically for an ancient ZOracleDA version (I used several years ago) after I had prevented the creation of a cyclic structure (which prevented automatic garbage collection).
Did those changes ever make it into a release?
I do not know.
Are they still relevent now or does the cyclic garbage collection stuff solve the problem?
I no longer work with Oracle. My colleagues (who work with Oracle) have not reported any connection leaks. Either, the problem is gone or they do not call Oracle stored procedures (the cycle was build only during stored procedure calls). -- Dieter
