We found in testing we had to keep clearing IE's cache and restarting the browser.

Ah, thanks! That was the last piece of info I needed for IE6 to accept my cookies in "low" privacy mode. Now I'm working on getting things to work in "Medium" mode, slowly inching myself up towards the default of "Medium High"... :-)

We hacked response so that all responses from Zope get a compact policy.
