Actually i would ask the ISP because there are a lot of bloody ways to disallow users to run things like zope on "cheap" accounts. (cpu time limit e.g.) Greetings Christian A* Tim Hicks <tim@sitefusion.co.uk> [020312 20:40]:

Is it possible to install zope on a server which I have a virtual account on? For instance, the basic package at: http://www.successfulhosting.com/
I don't know about successfulhosting, but I have successfully installed a binary distribution of zope on a virtual server @ www.dsvr.co.uk . I obviously have shell access, but I don't remember anything especially different I had to do. Could probably have installed a source version, but the binary was the path of least resistance given the vserver only comes with python 1.5.2 installed.
So, yes, it's possible...
