I will try to dig into the binary to get it to work, but I would like to know if what assumptions have been used about the system setup at compile time (checking the Makefile shows some paths incompatible with my system setup).

If anyone is interested, I have patches to the MySQL DA to use the newer MySQLmodule rather than mySQLmodule.
