I would like to write a python script or dtml-method named "parse" to grab the record from database. If you implement your "parse" with a Python Script, then you can bind (--> "Bindings" tab) the "traverse_subpath". When you do this (its bound by default), then this bound variable contains the remaining URL components as a list of URL path fragments.
