[Zope] Howto establish mysql connections in zope via python

I want to establish a connection to a MySQL database via a python method. I get a authorisation error. Zope asks for a new username/password combination. All combinations that could apply are not correct. Moreover,the database does not require a password for this particular user. If I establish the same connection in Python, I get a connection.
