Furthermore, one would expect a malicious DOS attack when all 15 Zope instances show this problem at the same time.
Something else seems to happen...
the funny thing is, that by a direct request (via ip address and port number) Zope doesn't answer. When I restart httpd (not Zope), Zope and Apache again answer. So I don't restart Zope. I think this is a problem of httpd, not Zope.
