I looked at Squishdot and it seemed fine, but not really a discussion group, board etc. It is a website in and of itself. I am looking for something to replace WWWBoard, UBB or Phorum. I would love to build a SQL backend for all of that but don't have the time right now. After playing with ZDiscussions it is not bad. I have been able to hack a few things to get them to work a bit more like most board (sorting orders, replies). I have not been able to get my hands on or even view the PTK. J

There are really basic and before I go and create my own I want to make sure that no one has done anything else.
I think ZDiscussion are based on Confera. Which from what I understand is now 'bad' because it's so old. Squishdot is based on this and problems have now started emerging because Squishdot is also very old and doesn't do its indexing in the 'new ways' ;-)
Recommendations in the past have included the KM|Net News product and of course the PTK. You might like to consider these...
cheers,
Chris
