The PIL module is insalled (this I know) I just think I need to do a little more work with the JPEG support. It doesn't happen to me. I'm running Zope 2.2.5 at Win98. Python 1.5.2 and PIL module are installed at the "Python" directory that the Python's binary distribution uses as default.
Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like you didn't install the PIL module.

I have tried and tried again to recompile jpeg, include the path.. whatever! I am using Zope 2.2.4 , on RH 6.2
