[Zope] CMF learning curve and examples

I really like CMF, but it is ridiculously ambiguous in its documentation and a lack of examples really makes it hard to envision it as an easy solution. Does anybody have any example CMF sites they could zexp and send to me? I really want squishdot functionality, but I want the benefit of being able to abstract the news story's meta-data and perform custom functions on it. And CMF seems like a much smarter choice for expansion. Thank you for your help. Jacob
