[Zope] howto wrap a perl script

hi, i'm going to execute a perl script on another server, and i would like to know how to: 1/ wrap a zope (pyhton) method around it so i can use zope to manage authorization 2/ display the scripts output to the zope user. Any ideas on how to do this? or links to useful information? I haven't found any howto's for this, and you would've guessed: i'm not a pyhton hacker.
