If these are ZODB Conflict Errors, should I expect to see them in the event log? (My ORA-00001 errors are there but I see no conflict errors.)
Yes. It appears my guess was wrong. I have no other suggestions.
Lets say I moved all my db logic into external modules, hiding any references to database connections or result objects completely from the ZODB and any ZODB-based assets like DTML, PythonScript etc...would you expect this to solve the problem?
No, I'm afraid. But conflict errors don't seem to be your problem, however, so no use wasting brain cycles on that for now. ;-) - C
