No, it will appear as "acl_users" and the folder icon will have a triangle-like shape inside. Also, I think I had to patch something to work with plone, I can't remember. Nope. No errors in the error log. Just to clarify. I'm assuming that if the "add" was succesful, I should see an "LDAPUserFolder" object appear in my Plone portal, right?

I've installed LDAPUserFolder 2.1 and I'm trying to instantiate the LDAPUserFolder within my Plone portal. The problem I'm having is that I fill in all the fields in the create menu for the LDAPUserFolder, but when I click "add" it seems to fail silently.
