I thought it might be permissions on the mail server, but I put an asp page on the IIS, and sent mail externally (CDONTS) just fine. Your mail server is configured in a way that it does not relay to recipients outside your domain. Nothing that Zope could do something about.
Options: * reconfigure your mail server * use a mail server that allows relaying Dieter
