Just for information: I also have this problem also with Zope 2.2.1 under Linux AND Windows. the Windows Zope was a fresh installation. That is very strange. I know there is a bug in the ZUBB (ZDiscussions) that I have fixed and am in the process of releasing (very soon hopefully) but don't know about that one.

Ahh.. what version of Zope did you go from?
I use zdiscussions with no problems since zope 2.0.0 to 2.2.0. I didnt test it with (zope>220 and zope<222). Now I'm testing it with 222 and for the first time its broken.
