Hello all,
I seem to be having this error in trying to use the external editor:
++ If you are using IE and you receive an error from the helper app like "FATAL ERROR [Errno 2] No such file or directory...." it means that IE is refusing to save the temp file to disk. This is usually caused by a cache control header such as "Cache-Control: no-cache". To use external editor with IE you must prevent this header from being set. Some versions of CookieCrumber inject this header for all authenticated requests. You can fix this by changing the CC configuration on its properties tab in the ZMI to use another cache control value such as "private". ++
I can't seem to find the place to change it specifically. Can someone hold my hand on this one and point me to the right spot? All/any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
N.B., I don't know if this adds any info, but i just tried to use the external editor via zope.org to edit my "frontpage" and i get the same error. Hurm. Maybe it is not my installation at all... Maybe Zope.org using CC too?
Looks like its easy fixable: just dont use IE. There are plenty browsers out there which are even more recent then IE. (Opera, Firefox, Mozilla, ...) Patching CC back does not sound like a good idea. (Can of worms I'd say)
Tino.
Same problem in Opera as well. Not to mention not using IE is not an answer. "Patching CC back..." Why would i want to do this? Please explain. Thanks, -Christian
