Thank you for reacting. Indeed localhost was not in my host file, and i added it, thanks. However, http://127.0.0.1 itself is reacting very fast, less than a second. http://127.0.0.1/manage takes exactly 24 seconds see the authentication popup.
My last mail was a little wrong: my machine is a windows nt 4.0 machine
