Slightly incorrect...WinZip can't handle a filename with more than one "." in it, so it mangles all but the last one. All you have to do is replace, in the prompt, the "_tar" with ".tar" and it continues on just fine. --Paul Paul Everitt Digital Creations paul@digicool.com 540.371.6909
