Hello Andreas, I'm sure that it's described somewhere ;-) You're doc has an id DOG and it has a property name(a string). So if you want to know the name of your dog -> <dtml-with DOG> <dtml-var name> </dtml-with or <dtml-var "DOG.name"> Hope it helps Sven
