Deb, The ZServer log file is by default kept in var/Z2.log. You can change this spot and some other important options within Z2.py in the Zope top directory. What are the symptoms of the crash? It might be helpful to start Zope in debug mode (see z2.py) without putting it in to the background (this is the default if you use the ./start script out of any recent release). HTH! Hi all.
The following question probably qualifies as "unbearably simple", but I've been up for far too many hours, and I just can't find it: does the ZServer keep a logfile, and if so, where?
I'm having problems keeping the ZServer on http://www.oswg.org:8080/oswg going...it just stops working sporadically, and without log files I'm at a loss. Does anyone else have this problem of their ZServer just stopping for no apparent reason?
