Hi James, Zope works under Cygwin using Cygwin python. A few dlls need to be "rebased" for Python to run threaded apps properly. For more info, see http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2001-12/msg00894.html . - C ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Johnson" <tacomabbs@hotmail.com> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Sunday, February 10, 2002 9:42 PM Subject: [Zope] Compile Python
I'm using win 98 with dev c++ and the latest cygwin. I would like to use the gui of dev c++ but I've already tried to use cygwin to mount a temp directory to compile the zope source. I used something like "python wo_pcgi.py". I've looked at previous examples, I guess I'm not understanding the makefile/setup file part. Thanks, -James
I know this is Zope mailing list, but I would like to ask a Python question. I am new in Zope and Python, but I would like to compile Python myself in order to install Zope 2.5.0. What standard configure I should set in compiling Python for the purpose of learning Python
