This is how I have IE set. IE version: 5.00.3314.2101CO.
I have MSIE 4 and I have same setting. But if I often visit same page, MSIE was gone after some time caching too. Self-intelligent software from Mß :-(( -- I dont like it. Try different browser if you have some curious errors. JL.
