It could also be noted that there are a myriad of possibilities if this doesn't work. It would be that all incoming ports are blocked by a firewall to your IP, including port 80. It might even be worse, and be NAT'd (network address translation, private IP addr on your box with on-the fly packet proxying, essentially rendering you invisible to the outside world). You best bet is to really, really know your network, or know someone that does. Have you considered the possibility of a firewall/router blocking port 8080 somewhere between point A and point B?

Hi! I'm new to Zope. I've been working on it for 5 days and set up a web site on it. It works well on my machine(I have a static IP but not a domain name yet). I visit my web site by typing "http://123.456.789.000:8080/artman", it works, how excite! But today, I visit it from another machine through the internet, it seems something wrong with it. My homepage couldn't be found! why? do you have any idea for it? would you help me? The configuration in Z2.py is default, my platform is windows 98 se. Thanks.
