I use this module to generate XML and it works great! For HTML I'm not too sure but it appears to be working just fine.

Glad to see someone who is happy with this module ;-) You can find it at : http://www.librelogiciel.com/software/ It basically defines an XML_document class, the HTML_document ad CGI_document ones are just the same with some specific methods.
