Hi all, I have the same problem. My Zope hangs one or two times a week. I also was thinking to write a program to check if zope is up, but I don't believe this is a professional way to solve this problem. Maybe using Zope with apache? Someone have tried it? Jose Jason Cunliffe wrote:

Then I activated a checker, that checks availability every 5 minutes. The problem went away. Since then, Zope never hung again.
Out of curiosity, what are you using for your checker?
