One of the reasons I was trying to get mysqlUserFolder to work, is that I want to be able to store arbitrary data with the user record, such as real name, email address, etc. mysqlUserFolder does this quite nicely. If there is an easy way to achieve this using userDb then that would be another way to solve the problem.
