Hi everyone, I've been thinking that it would be cool to have current weather conditions displayed on our science dept. home page. Getting the current conditions involves requesting them from weather.noaa.gov according to a code that refers to your location. There is already a little Python program that does this via email: http://freshmeat.net/appindex/1999/06/29/930711471.html Unfortunately, I'm a Zope newbie and not sure how to approach this. Obviously (at least it seems to me), you don't want Zope sending out a fresh request every time your page is updated. Is it possible for Zope to cache the results of the lookup for some period of time? Does this seem like a reasonable thing to accomplish via Zope? -Tim -- Timothy Wilson | "The faster you | Check out: Henry Sibley H.S. | go, the shorter | http://slashdot.org/ W.
