[Zope] Looping and total- summary variable use.

Here's a newbie question regarding the use of summary variables and looping in dtml. How do you implement it? If I want to use the total-myvariable summary how do I call it? If I call it within the body of the loop it does not do any totaling. Does anybody have a good example? Thanks.
