What's the most elegant way to shut down a folder to public access while doing maintenance. I wondered about using a redirect in the standard_html_header but that doesn't seem to work...
what kind of maintenance? If you are fiddling with the setup of your pages you should do this inside a version. So nobody sees what you are doing until you are done with it.
Hi Tino A lot of my pages are served by sqlsession, and sometimes I have to do maintenance on the sql tables, and take down the database server. - ------- Regards, Graham Chiu gchiu<at>compkarori.co.nz http://www.compkarori.com/dynamo - The Homebuilt Dynamo http://www.compkarori.com/dbase - The dBase bulletin -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPsdk version 1.7.1 iQA/AwUBOORuXLTRdIWzaLpMEQJrpwCg5RabhwmIT153eQj1/I0+GBk6Y1QAoInH I5f2CEUkaMCnPiZegIwCOTsT =rNgh -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
